Time to post again! I've been a bit distracted lately with life in general and not spending nearly enough time in my craft area being creative. I've rekindled a spark with a banner I just made. The banner lead to a layout and hopefully tomorrow I'll also be working on some Father's Day cards! Below are two photos of my "Live Happy" banner and the layout I made. The layout has hidden tournaling behind the 6x4 photo on the right and space for 8 photos.

Embossing Resist
Hello!
During the Super Bowl last night I was feeling creative. I used a technique called embossing resist to create an absolutely beautiful card that I'm really proud of :) I got the stamping idea from a fellow consultant, Adeline Brill. This card features the January Stamp of the Month, Find Your Style, by Close To My Heart. Visit my online store to purchase one for your collection and look at all the awesome new products just released this February!
Feel free to enjoy a youtube video created by Adeline at:

My Craft Space
I recently reorganized my creative space and now feel like I have a small palace inside my house. I just LOVE it! It's very organized and presentable. Most of it is created from organization cubes that I altered to be paper racks. I left some cubes as they were to store larger items. Look at my creation...
Here are some close ups of the paper racks and cubes.
Then of course there is my cat "Dizzle" who just loves to be anywhere he shouldn't be ;)
I love the extra table space for friends and students or for spreading out a project on. Plus, I have another table that I can pull up when needed. So exciting!

Pennant Alphabet Stamp
Hello Everyone! I want to share with you a very fun card I made today for a friend who just had a baby girl named Bella. I used a brand new stamp set from Close To My Heart (E1018 Pennant Alphabet available to customers February 1st, 2011 for $34.95). This stamp set is perfect for adding letters with a little bit of fun. I simply stamped my letters (using a technique from our new Spring/Summer 2011 Idea Book) and then cut them out. I attached the letters to some floss to make a banner across the front proudly displaying her name. The glitter was adhered with simple scotch tape! Easy peasy! If you would like a new catalog from Close To My Heart or want to order the stamp set please feel free to contact me or stop by my online store. Click the shopping cart located to your right and you'll be directed to my store. Thanks for stopping by and God Bless! Please take a look at other new products from CTMH by clicking on a link below. Enjoy hopping!

Paper Roses
I made my very first utube video... sad thing, I can't up load it :( Positive thing, I made these beautiful flowers!! Another positive thing, I WILL get this utube thing straightened out and upload a great tutorial! Meanwhile, aren't these beautiful?!? They are made very easily by cutting a spiral out of a square piece of paper and then quiling it to the end. Add some Liquid Glass (exclusively available from Close To My Heart) to add an appearance of fresh wetness and your done! Beautiful paper roses :) You can easily create these beauties on your own, give it a try!

So... I've created a blog...
I've broke down and joined the world of blogging. Hang in there while I try to figure this all out ;) I'm a relatively new Independent Consultant for Close To My Heart and I look forward to sharing ideas and techniques in the future!
